Brandon Blackwood's "End Systemic Racism" Bag
2021 is the year of the bag, in more ways than one. This summer we're in our bag, both literally and figurately, with these cute black-owned bags around our shoulders. Here are a few of my favorite black-owned bag brands:
Brandon Blackwood
We love a statement piece that makes a statement, and Brandon Blackwood's "End Systemic Racism" totes do just that. Not only are they effortlessly chic, but they have a message that we can stand by - what's not to love? Even though Brandon Blackwood's "ESR" totes are gone forever (sad face), we can look forward to a plethora of new styles (see above) on May 10th! Save the date.
Asata Maisé
Patchwork is back in, and the comeback it's made is of Britney Spears levels. These cute sustainable patchwork bags have by Asata Maisé have sent fire waves through Instagram, and it's easy to see why. The brand is currently gearing up to release its Spring/Summer 2021 collection. You can join the waitlist here.
Telfar
No, we're not tired of Telfar yet, and you shouldn't be either. That is all :)
Mifland
Based in Atlanta, GA, Mifland is a contemporary brand that has a wide variety of types of bags that they offer. They offer duffle bags, small bags, and wallets - all in such rich and different colors, too. Check out their website to see all of the cute bags they offer.
Created Flo
An up-and-coming brand, Created Flo, is making noise on Instagram for their latest collaboration with Homage Year. The Florent Bag comes in two colors, and it is the perfect shopping bag for the summer. Get into this rising successful black-owned brand, neow!
Cheers to being in our bags all 2021!
