Longshot: Atlanta a Five Part Dance Visual Series

Atlanta, Ga (December 14, 2020)- Kerri Garrett, CEO of House of Productions, is proud to announce Longshot: Atlanta. Longshot: Atlanta is a dance visual series that unites Atlanta’s dance community and underground music scene. Five musicians and five choreographers were selected to collaborate on this series. Five core dancers were also selected as the main cast. “Longshot: Atlanta was created to highlight Atlanta’s dance community and underground music scene. The city is rich in talent in both of these spaces,” says Kerri Garrett, CEO of House of Productions and director of Longshot: Atlanta. “I wanted to collaborate and create with some of my favorite emerging artists in the city. The project is a visual journey that brings two worlds into one. It’s a love letter to the artists that inspire me and the city that ignites us all.” Kerri also styled and co-choreographed all visuals.

All visuals premiere on Sundays, at 7:00 P.M EST. on House of Production’s YouTube Channel. Each musician will host listening sessions on their respective Saturday leading to their visual. Additionally, each choreographer will host dance classes on the Friday leading up to their visual. All classes and sessions will be hosted on House of Productions’ Instagram page.

  • ATTITUDE, music by Toye and Jada Kingdom and choreography by Olivia Danso premieres December 20, 2020.

  • NO CAP, music by Yani Mo and choreography by Perlizbeth Deleon premieres December 27, 2020.

Longshot: Atlanta is directed by Kerri Garrett, cinematography by Daryus Hawkins, produced by Kendra Garrett and Jonathan Pierre. Core dancers include La’Shyra Courtney, Lenataa S. Goka, Yvonna Hoba, Erik Rayshun and Marquise T.A. Funding for this program is provided by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners.
